OUR RESEARCH PROJECTS
Our research focuses on the development of advanced AI solutions for solving challenging healthcare problems such as disease identification, patient treatment, and monitoring. We design innovative artificial intelligence methods to improve diagnostics, support clinical decisions, and enable smarter patient care across diverse medical domains.
Our group is committed to bringing cutting-edge technology to healthcare, enhancing both effectiveness and efficiency for patients and professionals alike. We actively seek collaborations with industry partners who share our vision of transforming healthcare through innovation.
This prestigious FIS-3 award endorses our research into AI-powered digital twins for neurodegeneration. The aim of the project is to develop generative AI technologies that simulate realistic brain MRI progressions, enabling analysis of disease trajectories, optimization of clinical trials, and personalization of treatments for neurodegenerative disorders. By doing so, we expect to revolutionize simulation-based medicine, reduce clinical trial costs by up to 50% via virtual placebo groups, and improve outcomes for patients worldwide.

The aim of the project is to develop AI technologies that can automate time-consuming manual tasks, typically performed by human raters, for quality checking, analysis, and validation of results in neurology clinical trials. By doing so, we expect to expedite neurological clinical trials, bring ultra-efficiency to image analysis, and improve the lives of patients living with neurological disorders worldwide.

The aim of the project is to develop an AI-powered document authoring tool that streamlines the process of creating and editing documents. The tool uses advanced AI algorithms to understand the context and meaning of the content, and suggests relevant and accurate information to improve the overall quality of the document. The tool will be particularly beneficial for businesses and organizations that rely heavily on document creation and editing, such as legal firms, consulting firms, and government agencies.
