{"id":654,"date":"2022-02-17T15:17:18","date_gmt":"2022-02-17T14:17:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/asafal.wp.unisi.it\/?page_id=654"},"modified":"2022-02-17T15:17:18","modified_gmt":"2022-02-17T14:17:18","slug":"research","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/portale2.unime.it\/asafal\/about\/research\/","title":{"rendered":"RESEARCH"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <strong>ASAFAL<\/strong> Project, <strong>COMPARATIVE AREA STUDIES<\/strong>: <strong>ASIA<\/strong>, <strong>AFRICA<\/strong>, <strong>LATIN<\/strong> <strong>AMERICA<\/strong>, in which professors from the Universities of Siena, Messina and Perugia participate, is based on two strategic assumptions, such as internationalization and interdisciplinarity. The project is aimed at investigating issues common to area studies and histories, relating in particular to the construction and exercise of authority, its articulations, the consequences of its exercise in the social and political sphere; to deepen the knowledge of political, institutional, social and cultural actors, structures and processes; through the analysis of relevant phenomena in individual regional contexts, identify continuity and discontinuity, similarity and divergence.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>El Proyecto <strong>ASAFAL<\/strong>, <strong>\u00c1REA DE ESTUDIOS COMPARATIVOS<\/strong>: <strong>ASIA<\/strong>, <strong>\u00c1FRICA<\/strong>, <strong>AM\u00c9RICA LATINA,<\/strong> en el que participan profesores de las Universidades de Siena, Messina y Perugia, se basa en dos premisas estrat\u00e9gicas, como son la internacionalizaci\u00f3n y la interdisciplinariedad.
