Research: In the last years, his scientific interests include: hydrology, with a focus on probabilistic models for flood and intense precipitations forecasting; urban hydrology, with a focus on hydrologic losses and design flow rates in urban drainage systems; water systems, with a focus on stormwater system design and optimization, water supply planning, pollution control, and modelling; water resources management, with a focus on droughts, flood management, environmental issues of water use; sustainable strategies for water use and stormwater management, with a focus on detention, retention, and infiltration structures.
