CALL FOR PAPERS
LIV Meeting Società Italiana di Elettronica
SIE-2023, the 54th annual Meeting of the Associazione Società Italiana di Elettronica (SIE), will be held in Noto (SR), Italy, from September 6 to 8, 2023.
An International Graduate School for PhD students in Electronics is also organized by SIE and will be held in Messina, before the meeting, from September 4 to 6, 2023.
The SIE-2023 Annual Meeting will include invited lectures involving experts on state of-the-art topics, oral sessions, round tables, video presentations, with the goal of complementing the regular program with emerging topics of particular interest to the Italian and European Electronics community.
Two typologies of three-page abstracts can be submitted:

- standard contributions without significant novel results;
- original contributions with significant novel results.
Authors of selected original contributions will be asked to submit an extended version to IEEE Access and, incase of acceptance, SIE will cover the publication fees.

Proceedings: deadline and instructions for paper preparation.
All authors of original contributions accepted for oral and/or poster presentation must submit the final version of their paper within September, 8, 2023. This is a hard deadline: no extension will be possible!
Both a PDF version and the source file (either in Word or LaTeX) must be prepared and sent to cciofi@unime.it with the subject: “SIE2023_proc_###”, where “###” must be replaced by the number assigned by EasyChair upon abstract submission (for instance SIE2023_proc_313). A confirmation mail will be sent to the authors within 72 hours. In the absence of a confirmation mail after the 72 hours period, please contact cciofi@unime.it (without enclosing any file) so that any possible problem can be addressed.
Templates for the manuscript preparation either in Word or in Latex can be downloaded below.
PLEASE NOTE: there is a MINIMUM length of 6 pages for the manuscript (no maximum). The minimum length is mandatory!
Poster preparation
The maximum size for the poster is A0.
We offer a poster printing service (free of charge): you can upload the poster in EasyChair and you will find the poster ready at the conference site.
To simplify poster printing and reduce costs, please avoid large areas with heavy colored backgrounds!
In order to take advantage of this service, authors must:

- Login into EasyChair and go to the submission page for SIE2023.
- Click onto the magnifier glass icon
- In the menu at the top-right of the page, select “Update information”, go to the bottom of the page and select the appropriate choice in the “on site poster printing” box.
Within August, 28:
If you selected “yes, I would like my poster printed on site” by August 15, you must upload the PDF of the poster into EasyChair:
- Login into EasyChair and go to the submission page for SIE2023.
- Click onto the magnifier glass icon
- In the menu at the top-right of the page, select “Add or update files”, and upload the PDF of the poster.
