Conference Program is still in preparation.
Here are a few preliminary details that can help in your travel arrangements.
- Conference opening will take place on September 8th, 2026 at 8:00 am;
- Conference closing will take place on September 11th, 2026 at the end of the morning;
- Lunches on conference days are provided as part of the registration;
- A welcome “get-together” is planned at lunch time on the first conference day (September 8th), including an excursion to the Duomo di Messina with its famous Astronomical Clock ;
- A cocktail with a piano recital is planned for september 8th in the evening at the Messina Theater (Teatro Vittorio Emanuele).
- The gala dinner will take place on September 10th, 2026;
- Scientific sessions typically start at 9:00 a.m. and end (except for Friday) at about 6:00 pm (with “relaxed timing” for coffe breaks and lunches);
- Scientific sessions will include plenary talks, invited talks and regular talk contributions selected from the ones submitted (see call for papers);
- The Museo in Messina hosts, among others, paintings by Caravaggio. We hope that we can plan a vist to the Museo, even if only as a side event for accompanying persons.
