Acceptance of scientific reports is subject to evaluation by the UPoN committes. When submitting the extended abstract, the authors can indicate the preferred mode of presentation, if any.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold;max-width: none\">Extended abstract preparation.<\/span>&nbsp; The same template used for original contributions is expected to be used for the preparation of extended abstracts concerning scientific reports. You can download the Word template from&nbsp;<span style=\"max-width: none;color: #0000ff\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;max-width: none\" href=\"https:\/\/resource-cms.springernature.com\/springer-cms\/rest\/v1\/content\/27841328\/data\/v1\">here<\/a><\/span>, and the LaTeX2e package from&nbsp;<span style=\"max-width: none;color: #0000ff\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;max-width: none\" href=\"https:\/\/resource-cms.springernature.com\/springer-cms\/rest\/v1\/content\/26361882\/data\/v2\">here<\/a><\/span>. <span style=\"color: #ff0000\">Please ignore any reference to the publisher in the templates<\/span>: Scientific Reports will not be subject to peer review and will not be published, in accordance with the nature of these works. Resorting to the templates linked above is a matter of convenience.&nbsp; Extended abstracts for Scientific Reports will be evaluated by UPoN committes&nbsp; (with the help of experts in the specific fields, if needed) in order to assess the relevance of the content for the conference.&nbsp; Extended abstracts for Scientific Reports are expected to be from 4 to 6 pages with the provided templates.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li style=\"max-width: none\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;max-width: none\">Final version of the extended abstracts.<\/span>&nbsp; Authors whose abstracts will be accepted for presentation at the conference<span style=\"color: #ff0000\"> may prepare a final version<\/span>&nbsp;following the suggestions from the UPoN committees. <span style=\"color: #ff0000\">Once again, the abstracts\/manuscripts relative to scientific reports will not be published<\/span>. However, restricted access to the abstracts will be given during the conference in order to preserve the possibility of pursuing publication in the case of reports concerning preliminary results. <span style=\"max-width: none;color: #ff0000\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"max-width: none\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;max-width: none\">For the submission of an extended abstract you need a Microsoft CMT account.&nbsp;<\/span>We employ the Microsoft Conference Management Toolkit (CMT) for managing the submission of the extended abstracts, the revision process and the collection of the final version of the accepted manuscripts.
